Dundalk u15 Girls v Sutton
Under 15′s: Dundalk 17 – Sutton 14
Suttonians travelled to Mill Road on a blustery, but sunny day. Dundalk started off well with Zoe Valentine scoring two tries within the opening minutes of game. Quickly followed by Ellen O’Hara who ran in three tries in succession. it was eight minutes into the game before Sutton put in any scores as both sides battled against strong winds. Dundalk maintained the upper-hand however with a great defensive game throughout. More tries were run in by Meadhbh O’Callaghan, Orlagh Conway, Libby Turnbull, Ellen O’Hara and Zoe Valentine in the second half. Great running play by Aoife McDonough and the fast paced Aoife Lowth. Sutton found it impossible to catch up with text book play from Dundalk girls. It was a great game for younger players Aoise Finegan, Shona Kelly and Clodagh Flynn to experience and they contributed to a fantastic fast paced game, thrilling to watch.
