Dundalk U 12 sharks put out two shark team’s on Friday night in their first match of the year against navan in what was billed as a training match to get the lads off to a new season and what a night it was for the boys. Perfect September conditions on a beautiful night on the first pitch and the young sharks took to their task gallantly. True to form Navan travelled with some huge lads , but the old mantra of low and hard was the bread and butter of the Dundalk game. The Metro league bekons for the chaps and this work out will serve them well . Strong running , going forward and putting the ball wide was the order of the night and all credit to both sides who demonstrated with gusto . Boyne are next up in this series of floodlit encounters , lets hope its another good exhibition of shark rugby
