Dundalk U9s welcomed DLSP to the Mill Road on Sunday morning to kick off their Metro League campaign. The visitors traveled with disappointing numbers and could only field one team whereas Dundalk had over thirty players. There was no option but to split the Dundalk lads into three teams to keep everyone involved. The result was that DLSP played three matches against the home teams while simultaneously two Dundalk teams played against each other. The outcome was there was a very tired bunch of kids heading back to Dublin! There was some wonderful scores executed by the lads with some ferocious tackling throughout the games. The improvement already this season points to a very promising year.
