BRUCE   BENTLEY

1961 – 2014

 

Dear Members,

Dundalk RFC is sad to announce the passing of Club member Bruce Bentley on Saturday last, 22nd November.

Bruce had been ill for a while but fought his illness every step of the way, never lost his lust for life nor his sense of humour.

He will be sadly missed by the Club and our heartfelt sympathy goes out to his wonderful family.

We appreciate the time Bruce spent with us and the trojan work he put into coaching our youth & mini teams.

One of his great joys in life was to watch his sons play for Dundalk on a Saturday afternoon (followed by a Guinness, or two, in the bar afterwards).

A memorial service will be held for Bruce on Saturday next, the 29th, at 11.00am in  the new Drogheda Presbyterian Church and all members who may be available are requested to attend.  Full Club dress would be appreciated.
